"It has been almost exactly a year since I had my closing. Linda Hoyt was my real estate agent who helped me find and purchase my condo in Fort Lauderdale. As a very brief background, for several years (off and on) while I was still living in Raleigh, NC, I came down to Florida looking for condos and rentals around Fort Lauderdale (including parts of Broward and Palm Beach counties). I used some good realtors in that earlier search. However, I never found what I wanted. About two years ago (while still living in Raleigh, NC), I had the great fortune of finding an excellent realtor to sell my house there. I asked my Raleigh realtor how I could find a great realtor in Florida and she mentioned that I should try looking at the Pros section in Zillow for reviews. This is how I found Linda Hoyt, and I am very happy that I did! After about a little more than a year of looking and making a few offers, I finally found the condo that I eventually purchased. It was worth all of the looking and I appreciated Linda’s help throughout the process as it moved from the looking stage to the purchase stage. Linda is the penultimate professional. She does everything herself including making all of the contacts, driving around showing places, and offering intelligent suggestions, etc. I played a very active role in searching for places online and she complemented my efforts with hers. If I had wanted some help in getting a mortgage, she had someone that would have helped in that. She arranged the closing so that I did not need to attend (even though I did but the seller did not who was represented by her realtor). Things were done swiftly, accurately, and required minimal effort on my part. She made things easy. During the process, she assisted me in making a few selected offers to sellers and there was never a delay in getting it done. She presented the offers (and counteroffers) within a few hours of me asking her to do so. Linda is very knowledgeable about what needs to be done in residential real estate transactions, and that knowledge made the final negotiations and closing go smoothly. She not only knows the big picture but also the micro details. In other words, she did all of the little and big things well. She is competent, motivated, reliable and smart. I was very fortunate to have her help me. In summary, throughout my long process of finding and purchasing a condo, Linda was helpful, professional, dependable, energetic, and in every way, a terrific realtor. I might add, she’s a great person! I have already recommended others to her for their real estate needs and will do so happily in the future."

"Just wanted to pass along to you my opinion of/appreciation for Ms. Hoyt, who assisted in the sale of my property 15 April 2013. I have owned the property since 2001, but have utilized it as a rental property since 2003. Long story short, I had a disengaged property manager, and tenants who broke their lease mid-way through on 31 August 2012. In addition to breaking their lease, they left behind $43,000.00 in damages. Once I got through this insurance claim maze, renovations and repairs began in earnest mid- to late- December 2012. I contacted Ms. Hoyt early January 2013 in anticipation of selling the property once the work had been completed. From the day I contacted her Ms. Hoyt became fully engaged in acting as "boots-on-the-ground" for me, often-times overseeing myriad additional repair work, coordination and installation of new appliances, or granting access for a variety of inspectors. She was extremely responsive and available at literally any hour of the day, any day of the week. Needless to say, as a long-distance owner I could not have accomplished this transaction without her. She acted as my ally, my advisor, my confidant, and my partner throughout the process, exploring and recommending solutions in order to meet a command objective - selling the property. Her constant good mood and positive, can-do attitude helped me through some very, very challenging times. And for that, I am forever grateful. Linda did her homework, paid meticulous attention to the details and went the extra mile to be sure she was at every showing. Being a first time home buyer can be very overwhelming and stressful but Linda made the experience very easy for us. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable but she is also patient. On our second day of looking at homes, she got us into 17 homes in one day and was enthusiastic about it the entire time. On the day of 17 homes, we found “the one”.
